Collection: SuperMAC Rack Cases

The SuperMAC is Peli's premium configurable rack mount case, distinguished by its patent-pending Lock 'N Load removable rack system: the entire 19-inch rack frame slides out of the case body on a drawer mechanism, giving full 360° access to cabling, power distribution, and rear-panel connectors before the rack is locked back into the case for transport. This feature, unique to the SuperMAC within the Peli portfolio, dramatically reduces integration time for complex systems that would otherwise require a technician to work inside a confined case volume. The smooth-surface rotomolded shell is available with 24-inch (61 cm) or 30-inch (76 cm) rack depth and spans the widest configuration range of any Peli rack case family.

System Integration and Custom Configuration

The SuperMAC is the preferred platform for Peli's custom engineering programme: the removable rack is compatible with standard 19-inch blanking panels, cable management bars, power distribution units (PDUs), and ventilation blanks, and the case can be pre-integrated with customer-specified equipment at Peli's facilities or by a qualified European integrator before delivery. European prime contractors in the C4ISTAR and electronic warfare markets regularly use the SuperMAC as the basis for fielded sub-system containers, specifying it in tender documents as "rack mount case with removable frame and environmental seal." The patent-pending shock mount design uses a heavy-duty rubber corner insert that provides medium-duty vibration isolation, appropriate for sensitive electronics that would be damaged by harsh road vibration but do not require the full six-axis isolation of the MAC Rack.

Configuration Options

The SuperMAC is available in 3U through 9U and beyond, with the most common stocking sizes being 3U, 5U, 7U, and 9U. The 30-inch depth variant accommodates modern 1U and 2U server chassis, GPU compute nodes, and high-density network appliances. A full configuration matrix of 21+ case variations allows buyers to specify shock mount option, rack depth, U size, finish, and locking hardware independently. Payload capacity ranges from 11 kg (3U) to approximately 90 kg (9U with heavy-duty shock mounts).
