The footlocker ships in six standard military and emergency-response colour schemes — Black, Desert Tan, Gray, OD Green, Red, and Yellow — allowing integration with colour-coded logistics systems or visual identification across a multi-container field setup.

The 474-FTLK-1's lid opens wide in seconds, providing unobstructed top-access to the full interior — no fumbling with complex latches, no restricted opening angles. Two lock-ready hasps accept standard padlocks (not supplied), securing the contents against unauthorised access when the footlocker is left unattended at a command post, in a vehicle bay, or during transit.

Inside, two removable trays keep smaller items — spare batteries, medications, communication accessories, or personal protection equipment — separated from the main storage volume. Lift out either tray to expose the full interior for bulkier loads; replace them for quick-access item management. The interior reconfigures without tools in under a minute.

Mobile Without Compromise

A footlocker that is difficult to move becomes a liability in rapid-redeployment scenarios. The 474-FTLK-1 addresses this directly: two heavy-duty integrated wheels allow a single person to roll a fully loaded unit across hard ground, gravel aprons, or vehicle decking. The 474-FTLK-1 is engineered for the conditions that degrade conventional storage: UV exposure, repeated freeze-thaw cycles, mud, sand, and chemical decontamination procedures. The polyethylene shell does not rust, splinter, or absorb moisture. The wheel assembly and hardware are rated for sustained operational use — not occasional movement. When the mission ends, the footlocker packs out as reliably as it set up.
