The Peli™ 1975Z0 carries the ATEX Zone 0 certification — the highest classification under the ATEX directive for explosive atmospheres. This means the light is approved for use in locations where explosive atmospheres are present continuously or for long periods, not just occasionally. Most flashlights marketed as "ATEX-rated" carry only Zone 2 certification, which covers areas with infrequent risk. Zone 0 is the gold standard, and it significantly narrows the field of qualifying equipment. In a Zone 0 classified area, using uncertified lighting is not just a policy violation — it is a serious safety risk for yourself and your colleagues.

The tail-mounted push button provides both momentary (press and hold) and constant-on activation, giving you precise light control without fumbling for a side switch while wearing work gloves. The 117-lumen LED output is well-suited to close-range inspection work: illuminating equipment labels, serial plates, weld seams, and pipe joints at arm's reach — exactly where penlights prove their value.

Power comes from two standard AAA alkaline batteries, which are included.
