Peli Armor™ construction — serious protection in travel form

The HC22 shell is moulded from a proprietary polypropylene blend using Peli Armor™ construction. This isn't the thin polycarbonate found in standard hard-shell luggage. The rigid monocoque structure resists compression, impacts and the kind of rough handling that happens between check-in and the carousel — or between boarding and the overhead bin. The sealed shell design also protects contents against moisture and dust, without the weak point of a zipper seam running all the way around.

TSA locking latches — no zipper, no weak point

The HC22 uses integrated TSA-approved locking latches with zinc alloy construction instead of a zipper closure. This is a fundamental difference: a standard luggage zipper can be defeated in seconds with a pen; a Peli latch cannot. The latches click open and shut with the satisfying firmness of equipment-grade hardware, and TSA agents can inspect and relock the case without damaging anything. For electronics, sensitive documents, photographic equipment or anything you don't want accessed en route, the latch closure matters.

Hinomoto® spinner wheels — built for airports that never sleep

The four 360-degree Hinomoto® wheels are not an afterthought. Hinomoto is a Japanese precision manufacturer known for smooth, silent, long-lasting spinner systems — the kind found in luggage that costs significantly more. In the HC22, they roll quietly through terminal concourses, hotel corridors and parking structures. The telescopic handle locks at the right height for comfortable movement whether you're sprinting to a gate or navigating a crowded boarding area.

Interior: organized, removable, practical

The HC22 interior measures 47.2 × 29.9 × 18.4 cm and features a removable liner with a frame system. The liner can be lifted out entirely — useful for cleaning, for adapting the interior to specific gear, or for replacing it when needed. With the liner in, the case works well for clothing, a laptop and travel accessories organized cleanly. Without the liner, the full hard interior is accessible for custom foam inserts or structured gear storage.
