The 474-FLD-DESK-TA Field Desk is a robust, single-station field workstation designed for professionals operating in remote and challenging environments. Made from durable roto-molded polyethylene, it offers a reliable solution for organizing documents, equipment, and mission-critical materials. The desk provides one flat working surface (approx. 76.2 cm x 72.4 cm) that attaches to the left side of the base drawer case, giving personnel a stable area for writing, planning, and using communication devices. Once the operation is complete, the unit folds into a single, compact container for efficient transport and storage.

Its integrated storage system includes six drawers in total—two small lockable top drawers, two medium, and two large—ensuring systematic organization of supplies. The small drawers measure approximately 35.6 cm x 22.4 cm x 8.9 cm (left side) and 35.6 cm x 31.8 cm x 8.9 cm (right side). The medium drawers (left side) accommodate Pendaflex folders at roughly 35.6 cm x 22.4 cm x 24.8 cm, and the large drawers (right side) also hold Pendaflex folders at about 35.6 cm x 31.8 cm x 24.8 cm. A fabric field chair, supporting up to 136 kg, is stored in the lid, enabling personnel to sit comfortably while working. Although no power strip is included, the user can add their own surge-protected unit to meet electronic requirements. Sturdy black plated steel catches, strike hardware, and large injection molded handles ensure secure closure and effortless transport. Heavy-duty casters (approx. 10.2 cm in diameter) enhance mobility, making relocation simple and efficient.
