The Peli™ CLASSIC V 5U Rack Case is a professional-grade transport case engineered for mission-critical rack equipment. Whether you're deploying blade servers to a remote data center, moving live production audio gear between venues, or shipping sensitive telecommunications hardware across borders, this case delivers the field-proven protection that demanding operations require.
Sealed Against the Elements
Constructed from impact-resistant RotoMolded Polyethylene with a silicone sponge O-ring seal and an automatic pressure relief valve, the CLASSIC V 5U keeps water, dust, and pressure fluctuations out — even during air freight. The non-reflective black stainless steel hardware is treated to resist corrosion, and stackable interlocking latches let multiple cases be stacked and secured safely during transit or long-term storage.
Maximum load capacity: 36–45 kg per case (3U–5U range); 45–77 kg for 7U–9U models. Fully REACH and RoHS compliant.
Wheels and Handles for Real-World Mobility
Four heavy-duty removable swivel casters allow a single operator to roll a fully loaded rack across loading docks, venue floors, and airport terminals. Stainless steel carrying handles add lifting stability, and the integrated lid hanger keeps the front panel clear while you work inside — a detail that saves time on every deployment.

Standard 19-Inch Rack Interface
The interior mounting frame uses a square-hole pattern with M6 metric cage nuts — compatible with any standard 19-inch rack unit. Frame height: 22.2 cm (8.75″), depth: 83.8 cm (33.00″). The front lid offers 6.4 cm (2.50″) of internal clearance; the rear lid provides 13.3 cm (5.25″) for cable routing and rear connector access. Custom internal configurations available on request.
