Overview

The Peli Euro-V 5U-L Rack Case is a lightweight yet robust rotomoulded case designed to house 19" EIA standard rack-mounted equipment with medium-duty protection. Manufactured in Germany, it is engineered for fast deployment and reliable transport of sensitive electronic and technical equipment.

Design and Features

This case features a durable steel rack frame optimized for metric-mounted equipment using an industry-standard square hole pattern (M6 clip nuts available). Offering variable depths of 610 mm (24") and 762 mm (30"), the 5U-L model includes molded stacking ribs for secure interstackability with other Euro-V and compatible rack cases. Equipped with eight black plastic handles and edge casters, it enables smooth and ergonomic transport.

Protection and Durability

The Euro-V 5U-L incorporates cylindrical wall-mounted shock mounts that isolate equipment from shocks and vibrations. It is constructed with a rotomoulded polyethylene shell complemented by corrosion-resistant, black oxide stainless steel hardware for long-lasting durability. A silicone sponge O-ring gasket and pressure relief valve maintain watertight integrity and prevent overpressure.
