SONLUX POWERCASE L (80C03000-0006) is a portable, high-output large-area LED luminaire built into a unique fold-out “case” format. It is designed for teams who need fast, repeatable deployment and a very wide, usable light field. Open the case, position it on the floor, mount it on a mast, or suspend it overhead, and you have serious scene lighting with minimal setup time.

The POWERCASE concept is all about speed and practicality. In transport, the luminaire is protected like equipment inside a case. On site, it unfolds into a large lighting surface designed to light big zones evenly. That means fewer dark corners, fewer hard shadows, and better visibility around cables, barriers, pallets, vehicles, and working personnel.

Extreme output for large zones

This version delivers a rated luminous flux of 102,200 lm with a rated power of 775 W. The listed system efficiency of 132 lm/W helps you achieve high illumination levels with fewer luminaires, which often means faster setup, fewer cable runs, and fewer trip hazards.

The light colour is 5000 K, providing a clean neutral-white “daylight” impression that supports alert work and accurate visibility. With CRI 80 and 3 SDCM colour consistency, colours remain stable enough for safety markings, labels, and material identification across a large working area.

Light control designed for work comfort

POWERCASE L uses high-efficiency LED units with precise clear PC lens optics to control the light distribution. The beam geometry is listed as 79° / 91°, helping deliver a wide footprint while keeping the light directed where you need it. The glare evaluation index is specified as UGR (4H/8H): 31.9. In practice, the right mounting height and angle make the biggest difference: raise the luminaire higher to widen coverage and reduce harsh shadows, or tilt it to keep glare away from direct eye level.

Three deployment modes

POWERCASE L is designed to adapt to the site, not the other way around. You can use it:

• Folded on the floor for quick low-position lighting of work zones, staging areas, and entrances.
• Unfolded on a tripod / mast to expand coverage and lift the light above people and obstacles.
• Suspended to keep the floor clear in tight, crowded, or high-traffic environments.

DIN 14640 mounting for clean setups

The luminaire includes an adapter for spigot mounting d = 30 mm according to DIN 14640. The adapter allows straight mounting or 30° inclined mounting. The inclined option is useful when you want to push light forward into a work face, reduce back spill, or limit glare for teams working close to the luminaire.

Built for tough handling and transport

The housing is powder-coated aluminium with corners protected by plastic caps. This is designed for frequent loading, unloading, and repositioning. A dedicated protective cover is included to secure and protect the supply cable during transport, keeping the pack-down tidy and reducing damage risks.

Ingress protection and durability

The luminaire is rated IP65 for dust and water-jet exposure and is designed for professional outdoor and industrial use. It is also rated IK08 for impact resistance and built to operate in an ambient range from -20 °C to +40 °C. The protection class is Class I.

Power and cabling for field work

POWERCASE L is supplied with a 10 m power cable (H07BQ-F, 3 × 1.5 mm²) and a Type E+F (CEE 7/7) plug. The luminaire is non-dimmable, which keeps operation simple and predictable for scene lighting and large-area illumination. If you need multi-level control, choose a dimmable variant or use external distribution switching based on your site workflow.

Long service life

The specified service life is 50,000 h (L80/B10). This supports high-usage professional deployments where the luminaire is run for long shifts and frequent operations. Replaceable components and robust mechanical protection help keep the system serviceable over time.

What is included

NOTE: The product includes the POWERCASE L luminaire, the DIN 14640 spigot adapter (d = 30 mm) with straight / 30° inclined mounting option, and the protective cover for securing the supply cable in transport. Tripods (masts), suspension accessories, and additional mounting hardware are selected separately.
