Product overview
The SONLUX POWERDISK 80P01000-0006 is a portable large-area LED luminaire designed for crews who need a wide, comfortable light field, not a narrow spotlight. It delivers strong illumination across big working zones, while the opal diffuser keeps the output soft and glare-reduced. That makes it easier to work longer, read markings faster, and move more safely around cables, pallets, machines, and vehicles.
This version is built for practical jobsite control. It gives you simple on/off plus Touch-Dim adjustment via push-button, so you can tune brightness to the task without extra controllers. Full output is ideal for wide coverage and safety. Reduced output helps when you work close to reflective surfaces, need less glare, or want to share power with other equipment.
Uniform light that stays comfortable
POWERDISK is designed to light a zone evenly. The large luminous surface and the opal polycarbonate cover help distribute light smoothly, reducing harsh contrast and eye fatigue. This matters on wet asphalt, glossy floors, painted steel, and vehicle bodywork, where strong luminaires often create uncomfortable reflections.
The wide 115° beam angle supports broad coverage without constant repositioning. Mount it higher to expand the footprint and soften shadows. Mount it lower to keep spill controlled and focus illumination where people actually work.
High output with efficient power use
With a rated luminous flux of 57,000 lm and a system power of 380 W, POWERDISK delivers serious light for large sites. The listed system efficiency of 150 lm/W helps reduce the number of luminaires needed for a target brightness level. Fewer luminaires usually means fewer trip hazards, simpler power distribution, and faster setup.
Neutral white for clear visibility
The colour temperature is 5000 K, which gives a crisp neutral-white appearance suited to technical work. With CRI 82 and 3 SDCM colour tolerance, labels, hazard markings, and material colours remain consistent across the illuminated zone, especially when multiple luminaires are used together.
Rugged construction for real-world handling
The housing is powder-coated aluminium and the cover is impact- and break-resistant polycarbonate. This combination is built for frequent transport, fast deployment, and the accidental bumps that happen in busy work areas.
Protection ratings you can rely on
The luminaire is rated IP65 for dust and water-jet exposure and IK10 for impact resistance. It is designed to operate from -20 °C to +40 °C, making it suitable for winter outdoor work and warm indoor industrial environments.
Long service life
The LED rated life is listed as 100,000 hours (L80/B10), supporting high-usage professional deployments. Photobiological safety is classified as EN 62471, risk group 1, which is typical for powerful work luminaires with a large luminous surface.
Mounting options: tripod or suspension
POWERDISK can be used on a tripod mast or suspended. It includes an adapter for spigot mounting d = 30 mm according to DIN 14640. The adapter supports two mounting positions: straight or 30° inclined. The inclined option helps when you want to push the light forward into a work face, reduce back spill, or keep glare away from eye level.
- Use straight mounting for general wide-area illumination.
- Use 30° inclination for work fronts, walls, trenches, or loading edges.
- Keep the diffuser clean to maintain uniform output and comfort.
- Route the cable away from walk paths and tripod legs.
Power, cabling, and circuit planning
The luminaire runs on 220–240 V at 50/60 Hz and is supplied with a 10 m H07BQ-F power cable (3 × 1.5 mm²) and a Type E+F (CEE 7/7) plug. A built-in switch supports quick control at the luminaire.
For installation planning, the specified inrush current is 15.3 A with an inrush duration of 760 µs. Typical guidance for luminaires per fuse is listed as: B10A: 2, B16A: 4, C10A: 4, C16A: 6. Always apply local electrical rules and consider real supply conditions, cable lengths, and generator behaviour.
What is included
NOTE: The product includes the POWERDISK luminaire and the spigot mounting adapter (d = 30 mm, DIN 14640) with straight or 30° inclined mounting option. Tripods, suspension adapters, transport bags, and other accessories are selected separately.
