The SONLUX POWERDISK 80P01001-0006 is a portable large-area LED luminaire built to deliver a huge, comfortable light field across real work zones. Instead of a harsh hotspot, POWERDISK creates wide, uniform illumination through an opal diffuser. This helps teams see hazards earlier, work faster, and stay less fatigued during long shifts.

This version combines two practical advantages: Touch-Dim brightness control and a Type E+F (CEE 7/7) IP68 plug. You get strong light when you need it, and the ability to dim down when glare, reflections, or power planning demand more control. The IP68 plug is a major benefit for outdoor work, muddy ground, splash zones, and wet-weather build-outs where standard plugs often become the weak point.

Soft, glare-reduced lighting that stays usable

High lumen numbers matter only when the light remains comfortable. POWERDISK uses a large luminous surface and an opal polycarbonate cover to reduce glare and smooth out brightness across the work zone. This is especially valuable on wet asphalt, glossy floors, painted steel, and vehicle bodywork where strong lights can cause tiring reflections.

The wide 115° beam angle supports broad coverage with fewer luminaires and fewer repositions. Mount it higher to expand the footprint and reduce shadows. Mount it lower to control spill, keep glare down, and focus illumination where people actually work.

POWERDISK delivers a rated luminous flux of 57,000 lm at a system power of 380 W. With a listed system efficiency of 150 lm/W, it provides a lot of usable light without wasting power. Neutral white for clear visibility

The colour temperature is 5000 K, which creates a crisp neutral-white “daylight” impression suitable for technical work. With CRI 82 and 3 SDCM colour tolerance, colours remain consistent for safety markings, warning labels, and material recognition, especially when several luminaires are used together.

Touch-Dim control for real site conditions

This model is on/off and dimmable via push-button (Touch-Dim). Dimming is useful when you work close to reflective surfaces, when the luminaire is positioned lower than usual, or when you want a calmer light level for tasks that do not require maximum output.

The LED rated life is listed as 100,000 h (L80/B10). That supports long-term professional deployments with stable output over time. Photobiological safety is classified as EN 62471, risk group 1.

Mounting on tripod or suspension

POWERDISK can be used on a tripod mast or suspended. It includes an adapter for spigot mounting d = 30 mm according to DIN 14640. The adapter supports two mounting positions: straight or 30° inclined. The inclined option helps when you want to push the light into a work face, reduce back spill, or keep glare away from direct eye level.

Power, cabling, and circuit planning

The luminaire runs on 220–240 V at 50/60 Hz. It is supplied with a 10 m H07BQ-F cable (3 × 1.5 mm²) and a Type E+F (CEE 7/7) IP68 plug. This model also includes an additional function: with switch, supporting fast control at the luminaire.

For practical planning, the inrush current is specified as 15.3 A with an inrush duration of 760 µs. Typical guidance for luminaires per fuse is: B10A: 2, B16A: 4, C10A: 4, C16A: 6. Always apply local electrical rules and consider real cable lengths, supply conditions, and generator behaviour.
