The SONLUX POWERDISK (80P02000-0006) is a portable large-area LED luminaire built for high-output, low-glare work lighting. It is designed to flood wide zones with a smooth, usable light field, instead of creating a harsh hotspot. The result is better visibility for people, tools, cable runs, markings, and moving equipment.

POWERDISK combines a highly efficient COB LED engine with an opal diffuser to create uniform illumination that feels calmer on reflective surfaces. It is a strong choice for construction sites, industrial maintenance, temporary outdoor work, and any environment where you want very high lumen output with controlled glare.

The colour temperature is 5000 K, giving a neutral “daylight” appearance that supports alertness and accurate visibility. Uniform, glare-reduced illumination

The housing is powder-coated aluminium, while the opal cover is made of impact- and break-resistant polycarbonate. This combination supports both durability and light comfort. Glare evaluation is listed as RUG (4H/8H): 29.8, supporting the design goal of strong but usable lighting.

The beam angle is 115°, helping to cover broad working areas without constant repositioning. Use it higher on a mast for wider coverage, or lower when you want more controlled spill and closer task visibility.

POWERDISK is rated IP65, making it suitable for dusty areas and for use in rain or water-jet exposure. For impact resistance, it is rated IK10, which supports real jobsite handling. The luminaire operates in an ambient range from -20 °C to +40 °C.

Long service life for daily use

The LED rated life is listed as 100,000 hours (L80/B10). This supports long-term, high-usage deployment with stable performance. Photobiological safety is classified as EN 62471, risk group 1, which is typical for powerful professional work lights.

Mounting options: tripod or suspension

POWERDISK can be used on a tripod or suspended. It is supplied with an adapter for spigot mounting d = 30 mm according to DIN 14640. The adapter allows straight mounting or a 30° inclined mounting, which is useful when you want to push light forward into a work face or keep glare away from eye level.

Practical fuse guidance is provided for typical breakers: B10A: 2, B16A: 4, C10A: 4, C16A: 6 luminaires per fuse. Always apply local regulations and consider cable length and supply conditions.
