Product overview
The SONLUX POWERDISK (80P02001-0006) is a high-output portable large-area LED luminaire made to deliver serious, usable light across wide working zones. Instead of creating a narrow hotspot, it spreads illumination in a broad, smooth field that helps teams see hazards, read labels, handle tools, and move safely around vehicles, pallets, cables, and barriers. It is the kind of light you bring when the work area is large and time is limited.
This version is focused on jobsite reliability at the connection point. It is supplied with a Type E+F (CEE 7/7) mains plug in an IP68 design, paired with a robust 10 m rubber cable. That combination is a practical advantage in wet conditions, splash zones, muddy ground, and outdoor setups where standard plugs often become the weakest link.
Very high output with efficient power draw
POWERDISK is built around a highly efficient COB LED engine. The rated luminous flux is 57,000 lm with a system power of 380 W. With 150 lm/W system efficiency, it delivers a lot of light without wasting power, which helps when you run multiple luminaires from temporary distribution boards or generator-fed circuits. Fewer fixtures can cover more area, which keeps setups cleaner and reduces cable clutter.
Neutral white light that supports accurate work
The light colour is 5000 K, giving a clear neutral-white “daylight” impression that suits technical work and long shifts. With CRI 82, colours remain readable for safety markings, warning labels, cable identification, and material recognition. Colour tolerance is 3 SDCM, which helps keep multi-lamp deployments looking consistent across the same site.
Uniform, glare-reduced illumination
High lumen numbers are only useful when the light remains comfortable to work under. POWERDISK uses an opal polycarbonate diffuser that produces uniform, soft and glare-reduced illumination. This matters on wet asphalt, metal surfaces, glossy floors, and vehicle bodywork, where hard glare can slow teams down and increase fatigue.
The beam angle is 115°, providing broad coverage that works well for open zones, assembly areas, loading spaces, and temporary work fronts. You can mount it higher to widen coverage and soften shadows, or lower it to keep spill controlled in tighter working areas.
Built to survive rough handling
POWERDISK is designed for real-world deployment, transport, and frequent repositioning. The housing is made of powder-coated aluminium for durability, while the diffuser is impact- and break-resistant polycarbonate that protects the LED surface and maintains a stable light distribution over time.
Protection ratings for jobsite reality
With IP65 ingress protection, the luminaire is suitable for dusty environments and water-jet exposure. With IK10 impact resistance, it is built for hard use in busy zones where equipment gets bumped, moved, and handled quickly. It is rated for ambient temperatures from -20 °C to +40 °C, supporting both winter outdoor work and warm indoor industrial areas.
Long service life for high-usage deployments
The LED rated life is listed as 100,000 hours (L80/B10), which suits long-term professional use. Photobiological safety is classified as EN 62471, risk group 1, which is common for powerful work luminaires where output is intentionally very high.
Mounting on tripod or suspension
POWERDISK can be used on a tripod (mast) or suspended. An included adapter supports spigot mounting d = 30 mm according to DIN 14640. The adapter provides two useful mounting positions: straight and 30° inclined. The inclined option helps when you want to push light forward into a work face, reduce back spill, or keep glare away from direct eye level.
Setup tips that pay off immediately
- Mount higher to expand the illuminated footprint and reduce shadows.
- Use the 30° inclined option to target a work front or loading zone.
- Keep the diffuser clean to maintain uniform output and comfort.
- Route the 10 m cable away from walkways to reduce trip hazards.
- Use stable tripods for outdoor work, especially in wind or traffic areas.
Electrical behaviour for cleaner planning
The luminaire runs on 220–240 V at 50/60 Hz with simple on/off control. Inrush current is specified as 23.04 A with a duration of 63 µs. This helps when planning multiple luminaires on the same circuit, particularly on temporary grids. Practical fuse guidance is provided: B10A: 2, B16A: 4, C10A: 4, C16A: 6 luminaires per fuse. Always follow local electrical rules and consider real cable lengths and supply quality.
IP68 plug for wet, exposed locations
Many failures in temporary lighting do not come from the luminaire body. They come from the power connection. This model uses a Type E+F (CEE 7/7) IP68 plug, supporting more reliable operation when the connection is exposed to water, mud, spray, or rough ground. That makes it a strong choice for outdoor maintenance, infrastructure work, event build-outs in bad weather, and emergency support tasks where you cannot babysit every plug.
What is included
NOTE: The product includes the POWERDISK luminaire and the spigot mounting adapter (d = 30 mm, DIN 14640) with straight or 30° inclined mounting option. Tripods, suspension adapters, transport bags, and other accessories are selected separately.
