Large area luminaire POWERTUBE II L 230V AC dimmable
Hurry up, only 3 items left in stock.
One luminaire that lights the whole scene
The SONLUX POWERTUBE II L is a mobile, large-area LED luminaire built to replace a clutter of small work lights with a single, fast-deploying source. Instead of a hard cone aimed in one direction, it throws soft light through a full 360°, wrapping the work zone in even illumination from every side. Set it on the floor, drop it onto a tripod, or hang it overhead — within seconds you have a glare-reduced, shadow-soft field that makes a site safer and calmer to work in. The L-size delivers the most output in the range, making it the natural choice for the demanding areas where good light is non-negotiable.
Light you can actually work under
Rated at a full 50,000 lumens, the POWERTUBE II L floods large spaces without forcing crews to squint or chase shadows. An opal polycarbonate diffuser spreads the output uniformly rather than burning a hot spot in the middle, and the beam is engineered to spill 180° downward and 180° upward — a genuine wrap-around field instead of a directional spotlight. With a 5000 K neutral-white colour temperature and a CRI of 80, tools, cables and hazards read clearly and naturally, which matters when the difference between a clean job and an accident comes down to what you can see.
Simple control, smart power
A dimmable converter driver sits at the heart of the luminaire, controllable over DALI for integrated installations or simply switched and dimmed from a push-button wired into the supply line. That means no fuss on site: bring the output up for a wide inspection, dial it down to cut reflections on wet ground, or match brightness to working distance. The system draws 372 W and returns 134 lm/W of efficiency, with glare kept in check at RUG 28.8 so the light stays comfortable even at close quarters.
Built for transport and daily abuse
Mobile light has to survive being thrown in a van, dragged across rubble and rained on — and this fixture is made for exactly that. The housing is powder-coated aluminium over a powder-coated steel base plate, with rubber feet that grip the surface and protect finished floors. It is rated IP65 against dust and water jets and IK08 for impact, so rain, spray and the occasional knock are part of the job description, not a reason to retire it. Repeated set-up and tear-down cycles are what it was designed around.
No fans, no fuss: passive cooling
High-output lighting usually means fans — and fans mean noise, dust intake and one more thing to fail. The POWERTUBE II L instead relies entirely on passive thermal management, with no active cooling at all. The payoff is quiet operation that won't intrude on events, fewer maintenance points, and lower downtime risk across long shifts where reliability counts more than anything.
Mount it almost anywhere
Setup stays flexible whatever the space throws at you. Stand it on the floor on its rubber feet for quick tasks, or slot it onto a tripod using the integrated sleeve, which accepts a 30 mm DIN spigot to DIN 14640. Where floor space is tight, hang it from the top handle with an optional strap and clear the ground entirely — handy for narrow access routes where trip hazards are a real concern. Raised above head height on a stand, it also pushes glare out of crews' eye line for maximum coverage with minimum discomfort.
What's in the box
The luminaire ships ready to plug in, with a 7.5 m H07BQ-F supply cable terminated in a Type E+F (CEE 7/17) plug, plus a textile carrying bag for quick packing and clean transport between jobs.

Planned for generators and site power
Real site grids and generators don't forgive guesswork, so the POWERTUBE II L has a defined inrush profile: 200 A for just 209 µs. That predictability lets you plan how many fixtures share a single line. As a guide, run one unit on a B10A breaker, up to two on a B16A, up to two on a C10A, and up to four on a C16A — always within local regulations and accounting for your actual cable lengths.
Safety and compliance
The luminaire is classified in photobiological risk group 0 under EN 62471, carries both the CE mark and the D-mark, and is built from materials validated by an 850 °C glow-wire test — the kind of detail that matters when a light is destined for public spaces and industrial sites.
Made to last and to service
Longevity is designed in. Many parts are intended to be replaceable, supporting a long service life rather than a throwaway one. A few simple habits keep it performing: transport it in the supplied bag, keep the opal diffuser clean for uniform output, and store the cable without tight kinks to protect the jacket and conductors.
Why crews choose the tube format
Tube-style 360° lighting quietly changes the whole workflow. Because light arrives from every side, shadows soften and you simply need fewer fixtures — which means faster setup, simpler cable routing and a work zone that looks uniform end to end. Over a long shift that adds up to real comfort, and it makes safety checks and inspections noticeably easier.
NOTE: The product includes only the lamp and a textile carrying bag. Masts (tripods) and any additional accessories are sold separately and can be selected as optional accessories.
