The SONLUX POWERTUBE II L is a high-output LED area luminaire for fast, clean lighting of large zones. Its tubular design produces true 360° illumination, so the scene is bright from every direction. This reduces harsh shadows behind people, pallets, vehicles, and equipment. The result is a calmer work area and fewer “dark corners” during demanding tasks.

This L-size model is built for wide spaces and high expectations. It delivers a rated luminous flux of 50,000 lm while keeping the light soft and evenly distributed. The diffuser is made from opal polycarbonate and is designed to resist impact and breakage. You get a uniform light field instead of a narrow spotlight cone. This is especially useful for crews who move around the zone often.

The luminaire uses LEDs with a 5000 K colour temperature and CRI 80. The 5000 K tone keeps details clear and reduces the “yellow haze” common in temporary lighting. CRI 80 supports reliable colour recognition for safety markings, wiring, labels, and tools. The distribution is 180° down and 180° up. This wraps light around obstacles and helps the whole area feel consistent.

The POWERTUBE II L uses a dimmable converter driver with DALI control. This supports integration into structured temporary installations and larger site plans. It can also be switched and dimmed using a push-button on the supply line. Output can be matched to distance, mounting height, and reflections. The housing is aluminium with a powder-coated finish. The base plate is steel and powder-coated as well. Rubber feet improve stability and help protect floors during indoor use. The luminaire is rated IP65 for protection against dust and water jets. Impact resistance is IK08, which supports real-world knocks during repositioning and packing.
