The Peli 1690 Lid Organizer changes that by converting the inside of the lid into structured, fast-access storage for the cables, tools, adapters, and small items that always seem hardest to find under pressure.

Mounted directly to the lid interior, the organizer means that when the 1690 snaps open on set or in the field, your essentials are already visible and sorted — not buried at the bottom of the main compartment or stuffed into a separate bag.

Construction and materials

Made from ballistic nylon with heavy-duty nylon zippers, the organizer is built to the same professional standard as the case itself. Ballistic nylon resists abrasion and tears, which matters when the organizer is seeing daily use in the back of a production vehicle or a cargo hold. Zippers open and close smoothly even with cold hands, and the stitching holds its shape through repeated packing cycles.

Pockets and layout

The organizer features six mesh pockets in varying sizes, a business card holder, and an additional Velcro-flap pocket. The mesh panels let you identify contents instantly without opening each pocket — crucial when you are working under time pressure. The mix of pocket sizes means a thick HDMI cable, a set of AA batteries, a multi-tool, and a stack of SD card wallets can all coexist without crowding each other out.
