Lid Pouch Mesh Organizer for Peli Air 1615
Available in stock (23)
The Peli Air 1615 is a large-format carry-on case with significant lid real estate — wide, deep, and entirely unused without an organiser. The LID1615MC10 Lid Organizer fills that space with ten zippered pockets in multiple sizes, adding roughly one third more usable storage to the case without touching the base configuration. Whether you carry cables, documents, tools, batteries, SD cards, or a combination of everything, this organiser gives each item its own place and keeps it visible when the case is open.
Every pocket face is made from transparent TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), moulded with a mesh-look texture that echoes the woven mesh used in professional equipment pouches — but as a single-piece, tear-resistant polymer rather than a woven fabric. The result is a fully see-through pocket face that lets you identify contents at a glance, without the fraying, snagging, or gradual stretching that woven mesh can develop over time. Each pocket zips shut to secure its contents and attaches to the backing panel with a hook-and-loop (Velcro) patch, so individual pockets can be removed entirely or rearranged in seconds — configure the organiser around your specific load-out rather than working around a fixed grid.
Ten Zippered Pockets in Multiple Sizes
The LID1615MC10 features ten independent TPU pockets, each with its own zip and a hook-and-loop patch on the back that holds it to the panel. Size variation is built into the design: some pockets are sized for flat items like SD card wallets, USB drives, and documents; others are deep enough for cables, torches, multi-tools, or small filter kits. Ten individually zippered compartments mean you can work through the case methodically — cables in one section, adapters in another, batteries in a third — without digging through a single mixed pocket.
The modular construction allows individual pockets to be removed from the panel entirely. If you are shipping only electronics and have no use for three of the pockets, take them out. If your next job requires more small compartments, reconfigure before you leave. The base panel remains in the lid; the pockets attach to it via hook-and-loop and come off without tools.
The organiser adds approximately one third more storage capacity to the Peli Air 1615. Accessories that previously lived loose in the base, in a separate bag, or forgotten on the packing list now have a defined location in the lid.
600D Nylon Panel with TPU Pockets — Built for Repeated Use
The backing panel is constructed from 600D polyester nylon — a proven fabric weight for travel and field kit that resists abrasion and holds its shape under load — and anchors all ten pockets. The pockets themselves are transparent TPU: flexible, tear-resistant, and unaffected by the fraying or loose threads that eventually show up on woven mesh after repeated packing and unpacking. The clear TPU face keeps contents visible without relying on a fabric weave, and wipes clean with a damp cloth in seconds.
Reinforced bartack stitching at every pocket attachment point and along the mounting edges extends the usable life of the panel. Double-stitched seams at the zip tracks and panel border carry the load where single-thickness seams would fail over time with repeated packing cycles.
Designed Specifically for the Peli Air 1615
This organiser is dimensioned for the Peli Air 1615 and no other case. The 1615 has significantly more lid area than the 1510 or 1535 series, and the LID1615MC10 is proportioned to match — fitting flush against the lid interior without overhang, gaps, or interference with the case latches or seal.
Installation uses the pre-drilled mounting holes already present in the Peli Air 1615 lid. Six included screws anchor the backing panel in position. Hook-and-loop strips pre-applied to the rear of the panel allow tool-free temporary mounting or removal in seconds when you need the full lid space.
Who This Organiser Is For
The LID1615MC10 earns its keep with anyone who treats the Peli Air 1615 as a working case rather than a static storage box. Photographers and videographers use the pockets for spare batteries, memory cards, and cleaning kits so the base compartment stays free for bodies and lenses. Field engineers and surveyors keep calibration leads, multimeters, and spare fuses within reach without unpacking the main load. AV and broadcast crews route XLR adapters, in-ear monitors, and gaffer tape into their own compartments instead of one tangled pouch. Drone operators use the TPU pockets for propellers, ND filter sets, and remote-control accessories that would otherwise rattle loose in transit.
What's in the Box
Each organiser ships complete and ready to install:
- 1 × LID1615MC10 lid organiser backing panel (600D nylon)
- 10 × individual zippered TPU pockets with a mesh-look face, hook-and-loop backed (pre-attached, individually removable and repositionable)
- 6 × mounting screws for the pre-drilled lid holes
- Hook-and-loop strips pre-applied to the rear of the backing panel
For tool-free installation, press the hook-and-loop rear against the corresponding strips inside the Peli Air 1615 lid. For a permanent or vibration-resistant fix, use the six included screws. All ten pockets come pre-attached and ready to use out of the box.
Care and Maintenance
Wipe the TPU pocket faces and the nylon backing panel with a damp cloth and mild soap when needed; avoid harsh solvents and abrasive cleaners, which can dull the TPU surface or degrade the nylon coating over time. Let the organiser air dry fully before reinstalling. If a pocket zip becomes stiff, a small amount of dry lubricant on the zip teeth keeps it running smoothly.
