Why the Cube Format Matters

Most cases are rectangles. Most professional drones, folded compact platforms, spherical sensor housings, and multi-directional instrument arrays are not. The Peli 0350's cubic interior eliminates the wasted foam corners and awkward diagonal packing that occur when cubic equipment meets a rectangular case. At 50 × 50 × 50 cm, the interior creates a symmetrical space that accommodates a fully configured drone airframe, battery set, controller, propellers, and a complete accessory kit — everything secured in one locked unit for transport.

Shell Construction

Triple-layer high-impact polypropylene: two hard outer skins with an energy-absorbing core between them. Drop the case on a corner and the shell distributes the force across its full surface rather than concentrating it at the impact point. Rounded, reinforced corners and edges prevent crack propagation and absorb the incidental damage of freight handling and rough deployment environments. Stainless steel hardware throughout — hinges, fittings, latch components, and wheel bearings — chosen for corrosion resistance in wet, coastal, and chemically aggressive conditions.

Sealed for Any Condition

A continuous O-ring gasket runs the full perimeter of the lid, creating a watertight, dustproof barrier between the interior and whatever the exterior faces. An automatic pressure-equalisation valve fitted with a GORE-TEX® membrane vents pressure differentials without admitting water: essential for aircraft cargo holds, high-altitude operations, and environments where rapid temperature changes cause pressure swings. Two two-stage double-throw latches close with a positive, deliberate mechanism that will not release under vibration or accidental contact. Built-in padlock protectors on both hasp positions accept standard padlocks for secure transport and airline declaration of equipment.

An optional lid organiser tray fits the upper compartment and keeps batteries, memory cards, ND filters, cables, and accessories immediately accessible — everything you need on location, at hand without disturbing the main interior.

Built to Move

Built-in ball-bearing wheels on stainless steel axles handle airport terminals, warehouse floors, and outdoor terrain without complaint. Two large fold-down handles positioned on opposing sides allow stable two-person lifting when the case is fully loaded. The 0350 is certified for air transport as checked hard-shell cargo, meeting airline equipment requirements without additional packaging.
