How the TrekPak System Works

The kit consists of high-density rigid panels — just 1.1 cm (7/16") thick — that slot together using durable steel U-pins. The U-pins grip the panels firmly so nothing shifts during transit, yet you can pull them out by hand and rearrange the entire layout in under a minute. Unlike traditional pluck foam, the panels retain their shape through thousands of reconfigurations and don't degrade or accumulate dust in cut-out gaps you no longer use.

The included double-blade cutting tool lets you trim panels to precise lengths without a ruler — one blade scores, the other snaps cleanly. Both the bottom foam pad and the convoluted (egg-crate) lid foam are included, adding a soft base layer and a gentle downward pressure that prevents items from rattling even when compartments aren't fully packed.
