The Peli 1550PF Panel Frame Kit transforms your Peli 1550 Protector Case into a purpose-built field control unit. Designed for engineers, field technicians, and system integrators who need to embed electronic interfaces into a portable, watertight enclosure — this kit bridges the gap between rugged protection and practical functionality.
What the Panel Frame Does
The 1550PF kit installs into the lid recess of your Peli 1550 case, providing a rigid mounting frame for custom electronic panels. You can integrate switches, push buttons, rotary knobs, display screens, HMI interfaces, connectors, or any interface element you require. The result is a professionally integrated, portable control unit as tough as the case itself.
The kit includes:
- Mounting panel frame (precision-moulded to the Peli 1550 case lid)
- Mounting bracket and fasteners
- Polymer o-ring for watertight seal
Watertight Even with the Panel Installed
The included polymer o-ring maintains a watertight seal around the frame when the case lid is closed. The Peli 1550 retains its environmental protection even with a custom panel fitted — essential when deploying electronic systems in rain, dust, humidity, or other harsh conditions.

Compatibility
The Peli 1550PF is compatible exclusively with the Peli 1550 Protector Case (also sold as the 1550EU). It is not interchangeable with other Peli case models — each panel frame is precision-moulded to the exact lid dimensions of its matching case.
Installation
The frame seats into the case lid with the supplied fasteners — no specialist tools required. A custom panel is then fabricated to the interior dimensions of the frame and fitted with your chosen controls or connectors. Note: the 1550PF is the mounting infrastructure; Peli does not supply custom-machined or blank panels.
