The Peli 1650 is a large-format rolling case built to handle broadcast kits, video production rigs, and high-value camera systems that are too large for carry-on cases. Empty, that interior volume is unusable. The A-Mode Red Padded Divider Set IN1650 converts it into a configured, gear-specific interior: 23 adjustable panels across three sizes — 3 long, 12 medium, and 8 short — plus 6 elastic webbings, all attaching without tools to the hook-and-loop interior lining of the 1650. The entire layout can be reconfigured from scratch in under a minute when the kit changes between shoots.

Twenty-Three Dividers in Three Sizes

The IN1650 includes 23 panels in three distinct sizes, fitted to the large interior of the Peli 1650: 3 long dividers to establish the primary grid across the full case width, 12 medium dividers to subdivide that grid into major gear sections, and 8 short dividers for individual accessory compartments within those sections. Each panel attaches to the hook-and-loop lining without tools — pull, reposition, press. The 6 elastic webbings stretch across the tops of compartments to retain flat items that don't warrant a walled section: memory card wallets, lens cloths, cable straps, thin battery packs, or filter holders. No configuration is permanent; the entire layout rebuilds in under a minute when the kit changes.

15 mm EPE and EVA Padding

Every divider panel is built with 15 mm of EPE and EVA foam. EPE handles vibration and distributed low-frequency impact across the full panel surface — the kind that accumulates over hours of checked baggage handling, cargo van transit, and rolling through airports. EVA adds structural firmness, keeping panels upright under the weight of heavy lenses, camera bodies, or grip equipment and preventing compartments from collapsing inward when the case is tilted or stacked. The exterior fabric is 230T waterproof nylon: a tightly woven shell that resists abrasion and moisture through daily professional use on set, in cargo holds, and between locations. Total weight for the complete 23-panel divider set: 1.2 kg.

Red for Immediate Visual Identification

Red is a working choice in multi-case environments. In cargo holds, equipment vans, and production staging areas where multiple Peli cases stack side by side, black or grey inserts disappear against dark interiors. A-Mode red gives immediate visual confirmation of which case is open and where each compartment falls — no reaching in to feel for gear, no opening the wrong case. For production teams managing multiple 1650 cases for different crew positions or departments, color-coded divider sets are a standard method of keeping kits separate without additional marking or labelling.

The divider set is dimensioned to the interior of the Peli 1650 — wall to wall and floor to lid — so there is no dead space at the edges, no lateral movement in transit, and no improvised shimming to fill gaps.
