The housing is moulded from high-impact copolymer that is waterproof, dustproof, and crush-resistant. A continuous O-ring seal in the lid creates a hermetic closure that keeps moisture, dust, and debris completely outside. The automatic pressure equalization valve is one of the 1750's most practical features: as you move between altitudes — from coastal plains to mountain hunting grounds, or between a pressurised aircraft hold and the outside air — the valve silently balances internal and external pressure, preventing vacuum lock and keeping the interior dry throughout.
