Peli 9730 RALS – Battery Powered Area Lighting System
In stock
When the power goes out, the generator runs dry or the work simply moves beyond the last street lamp, the Peli 9730 Remote Area Lighting System turns night into a manageable, well-lit workspace. This rechargeable, fully portable light is built for crews who set up where there is no infrastructure to plug into – disaster zones, roadside incidents, remote construction sites and overnight maintenance windows. It produces up to 4,800 lumens, runs for more than 18 hours on a single charge and is ready to throw light the moment you open it, with no fuel, no fumes and no engine noise.
Light that follows the work, not a wall socket
The 9730 is the latest generation of the Peli RALS family, and the upgrades are the kind you feel on a long shift: brighter output, longer runtime and a more compact body than earlier models. Because the battery is built in and rechargeable, there is no generator to refuel at 3 a.m., no extension cables snaking across a site and no exhaust to ventilate. That makes it equally at home inside a tunnel or plant room as it is in an open field, and it keeps the work area quiet enough to hear radio traffic and instructions clearly.
Aim the beam exactly where it is needed
The light head detaches from the base, so you are not stuck lighting whatever the unit happens to point at. Mount the head on a tripod to lift the beam over a vehicle, hand it to a colleague to illuminate a confined space, or leave it on the body for a fast, freestanding set-up. Three output modes let you balance brightness against runtime – full power when you are inspecting fine detail, a lower setting to stretch the battery through a whole night of standby lighting. A rear puddle light casts a pool of illumination around the unit itself, so crews moving cables and tools in the dark are far less likely to trip over the equipment.
Set up in seconds, in almost any weather
Weighing only 8.39 kg and shaped like a familiar tool case, the 9730 is genuinely a one-person carry. One operator can lift it out of a vehicle, deploy it and have the area lit in seconds – a real advantage when an incident scene needs light before anything else can begin. The IPX4-rated housing shrugs off rain and splashing water, and the rugged enclosure is engineered to survive the drops, knocks and grit that come with field use. The controls are simple enough to operate confidently in the dark or while wearing gloves.
Where the 9730 earns its place
This system was designed for the people who work when everyone else has gone home: emergency services lighting an accident or rescue scene, fire and disaster-relief teams establishing a command post, utility and construction crews on night maintenance, and industrial, law-enforcement and military operations that need dependable area light away from the grid. Wherever a temporary work zone, staging area or emergency site has to be made safe and visible, the 9730 provides even, glare-controlled illumination that helps people work accurately and avoid hazards.
Two colours, identical performance
The 9730 is available in two colour options that perform exactly the same: black (097300-0000-110E) as the standard professional finish, and high-visibility yellow (097300-0000-245E) for teams who want the unit itself to be easy to spot on a busy or low-light site. Choose the colour to suit your fleet or visibility policy – the output, runtime and build are unchanged between them.
