The 1605 is constructed from Peli's proprietary HPX²™ Polymer, engineered to be up to 40% lighter than conventional protective case materials without giving up structural integrity. The result is a case you can carry by hand through airports, trails or set locations and still trust to protect gear worth thousands of euros.
Rated IP67 and built to MIL-SPEC standards, the 1605 handles driving rain, submersion and the kind of rough handling that would destroy a regular bag. The automatic pressure equalization valve balances pressure differences between the ground and cruising altitude, and the waterproof O-ring seal keeps moisture, dust and grit firmly on the outside.

- No Foam: a clean, empty shell, ideal for custom inserts, TrekPak dividers you already own, or gear packed in soft pouches.
- With Foam: includes Pick N Pluck™ foam, the pre-cubed insert you pull apart to create a cavity matching the exact shape of your drone, camera body, batteries or instruments.
- With Padded Dividers: a fabric-padded system for photographers who need fast access to multiple items without committing to a fixed foam layout. Reconfigure between shoots without tools.
Security and Handling
The fold-down over-molded handle sits flush when not in use, so the case stacks cleanly and fits into tight spaces. Press and Pull™ latches give a secure, positive closure you can open single-handed, even wearing gloves. Two stainless steel padlock protectors allow you to lock the case for checked baggage or long-term storage.

I absolutely love how this whole setup came together. The yellow Peli Air 1535 already looks fantastic on its own, but with the blue interior, lid organizer and upgraded wheels it feels like a completely customized case.
The blue interior is not only a perfect match for the yellow exterior, it also makes it much easier to see and find smaller items inside. The lid organizer adds a lot of useful storage without making the case feel cluttered, and the upgraded wheels are a huge improvement over the originals — smoother and noticeably quieter on hard surfaces.

This lid organizer is a great addition to the case. It fits really well, feels nicely made, and makes much better use of the space inside the lid.
The transparent mesh pockets are especially useful because I can immediately see what’s inside without having to open every compartment. It’s perfect for smaller accessories, cables and all those little things that would otherwise end up loose in the case.

These wheels are a huge improvement over the original ones. They feel smoother, roll really well, and are noticeably quieter when pulling the case across different surfaces.
The difference is especially obvious on harder floors, where the original wheels were much louder. These make the whole case feel more refined and pleasant to use.

Sturdy built; as one would know from Peli cases. Inlay fits to perfection, is of good quality and it holds watches 38 to 45 mm without them touching each other. Plus, the inlay is molded in such a way that the watches don't move during transport! I give it 100%.
