Checked baggage that protects like a Peli

Checked baggage gets thrown, stacked, rained on and pressurised to altitude — and your equipment is inside. The Peli Air 1615 answers with a shell moulded from Peli's HPX²™ polymer, up to 40% lighter than comparable hard-shell cases while still meeting IP67 and MIL-SPEC standards. A waterproof O-ring runs the full perimeter of the lid and an automatic pressure equalisation valve balances interior and cabin pressure as you climb and descend, so the case opens as easily when you land as it did when you closed it at home.

Press and Pull™ latches close with a positive click and release cleanly in one motion, and stainless-steel padlock protectors let you add your own padlock when the job calls for it. Two quiet stainless-steel bearing wheels and a retractable extension handle carry a full load across terminals, cobbles and loading bays, while a fold-down over-moulded side handle sits flush against the body until you need to lift the case by hand.

• LID1615MC10 Lid Pouch Mesh Organiser (A-Mode) — ten individually zippered transparent TPU pockets on a 600D nylon panel, adding roughly a third more usable storage without touching the base layout. Flat pockets take card wallets and documents, deeper ones swallow cables or a torch, and every pocket is hook-and-loop backed so the layout follows the job. It mounts tool-free on the pre-applied strips, or permanently with the six included screws.
• One interior of your choice — every bundle includes exactly one, selected from the five options below and already matched to the 1615.

Choose the interior that fits your workflow

• TrekPak Divider Kit — the OEM rigid divider system made by Peli for this case. Coroplast panels just 1.1 cm thick preserve interior volume, steel U-pins hold every wall rattle-free under vibration, and the included double-blade tool sizes panels cleanly around your exact kit. Bottom foam and convoluted lid foam complete the enclosure.
• Peli Yellow Padded Dividers — the original Peli 1615 set: full-height padded partitions on hook-and-loop, supplied with lid foam, filler foams and elastic retention straps. The high-contrast yellow lets you check the whole layout at a glance in poor light.
• Beige Padded Dividers (A-Mode) — the IN1615 system in a muted earth tone: 23 dividers in three lengths plus six elastic webbings for flat, fast-access items.
• Red Padded Dividers (A-Mode) — the same 23-divider system in a red that makes dark gear easy to see, and one case easy to spot on a shelf of identical black ones.
• Green Padded Dividers (A-Mode) — the same padded hook-and-loop system in army green, for field and outdoor kits.

Choose TrekPak when the layout should be set once and never move: rigid pinned walls hold heavy bodies, lenses and instruments in a fixed position through freight handling. Choose padded dividers when the load changes between jobs — soft partitions rearrange in seconds, cushion on contact and forgive an awkwardly shaped accessory that a rigid grid would not accept.

Built for the way you actually travel

Photographers and video crews check bodies, lenses and lighting in the divided base while the lid keeps cables, cards and paperwork sorted. Drone pilots keep aircraft, controllers and spare batteries separated and cushioned through baggage handling. Field engineers move calibrated instruments between sites and still have the leads and spare fuses in the lid where they can reach them. In each configuration the principle is the same: the interior holds delicate items apart, the lid keeps small and frequently-needed gear visible, and the sealed shell shrugs off dust, rain and rough handling.

• The case ships without Pick N Pluck™ foam by design — the interior you select is the intended fit-out, and it can be rearranged whenever your kit changes.
• The 1615 is a checked-baggage format, not a cabin case. Confirm your carrier's current size and weight limits before you fly.
