The Peli BlackBox 5U Rack Mount Case is a durable and portable solution designed for professionals requiring secure protection for their 19-inch rack equipment. Made from tough Black-463 blended resin, the case offers reliable light to medium-duty protection with unmatched durability. It features a rugged 24-inch (61 cm) light-duty steel rack frame with a zinc black finish that meets ANSI/EIA 310-C standards, supporting payloads up to 45 kg with a typical fragility rating of 40-80G.

Inside, eight cylindrical elastomeric shock mounts are mounted directly to the case shoulders, providing 2 inches (5.1 cm) of sway space that effectively isolates equipment from shocks and vibration. The case includes a 2.2-inch (5.6 cm) deep front lid and a 5.2-inch (13.2 cm) deep rear lid, both equipped with molded-in 3.25-inch (82.6 mm) edge casters for easy mobility. Four plastic comfort-grip handles ensure ergonomic handling and portability.

The molded-in rib design improves stacking stability and interlock capability.
