The Peli BlackBox 7U Rack Mount Case is a robust and reliable protective case designed for professionals needing to safeguard their 19-inch rack equipment in demanding environments. Crafted from tough Black-463 blended resin, this case provides outstanding resistance to impact and harsh conditions, making it an ideal choice for light to medium-duty protection. The case features a 24-inch (61 cm) depth light-duty steel rack frame with a durable zinc black finish, engineered in compliance with ANSI/EIA 310-C standards, and supports a payload capacity of 36.3 to 45.4 kg.

Inside, the case is equipped with eight cylindrical elastomeric shock mounts, directly attached to the case shoulders, providing 2 inches (5.1 cm) of sway space to isolate sensitive equipment from vibrations and shocks during transport and deployment. The front and rear lids have depths of 2.2 inches (5.6 cm) and 5.2 inches (13.2 cm) respectively, both fitted with molded-in 3.25-inch (82.6 mm) edge casters to allow smooth and easy mobility. Four plastic comfort-grip handles ensure ergonomic and convenient handling.

The molded-in rib design enhances stacking capability and structural strength, while spring-loaded stainless steel hardware finished in nickel black ensures secure closure and long-lasting durability.
