The Peli BlackBox 7U 30-inch Rack Mount Case is a rugged and reliable enclosure designed to protect 19-inch rack-mount equipment with an extended rack depth, perfect for professionals needing secure transport and storage in demanding conditions. Constructed from durable Black-463 blended resin, the case delivers excellent impact resistance and light to medium-duty protection. It features a 30-inch (76.2 cm) deep light-duty steel rack frame finished with corrosion-resistant zinc black coating, complying with ANSI/EIA 310-C standards, and supports payloads up to  45.4 kg.

Inside, eight cylindrical elastomeric shock mounts attached directly to the case shoulder provide 2 inches (5.1 cm) of sway space to isolate sensitive equipment from shocks and vibrations. The front and rear lids measure 2.2 inches (5.6 cm) and 5.2 inches (13.2 cm) in depth, respectively, both equipped with molded-in 3.25-inch (82.6 mm) edge casters for smooth mobility. Four plastic comfort-grip handles ensure ergonomic handling and ease of transport.

The molded-in rib design enhances stacking strength and interlocking stability. Durable spring-loaded stainless steel hardware finished with nickel black ensures secure closure.
