The Peli BlackBox 9U Rack Mount Case is a durable and protective enclosure designed for professionals who need reliable transport and storage for their 19-inch rack mount equipment. Constructed from impact-resistant Black-463 blended resin, this case delivers light to medium-duty protection with outstanding durability. It features a 24-inch (61 cm) deep light-duty steel rack frame coated with a zinc black finish, compliant with ANSI/EIA 310-C standards, supporting payloads between 36.3 to 45.4 kg.

Equipped with eight cylindrical elastomeric shock mounts attached directly to the case shoulders, the BlackBox 9U offers 2 inches (5.1 cm) of sway space to isolate and protect sensitive equipment from shocks and vibrations. The removable front and rear lids provide 2.2 inches (5.6 cm) and 5.2 inches (13.2 cm) of depth respectively, and both feature integrated mold-in 3.25-inch (82.6 mm) edge casters to facilitate smooth mobility. Four plastic comfort-grip handles enable easy and ergonomic handling.

The molded-in rib design enhances stacking strength and interlocking stability, while spring-loaded stainless steel hardware finished in nickel black ensures secure closure. A closed-loop gasket combined with an integrated pressure relief valve maintains an airtight and watertight environment inside the case. Removable dual lids provide convenient access from both front and back, making installation and maintenance straightforward.
