If a latch has become loose, a pin has corroded or gone missing, or you are swapping in a coloured latch to build a custom colour combination, this pin lets you refit it to the case shell properly – no glue, no improvisation.

Fitting the Pin

Support the latch from behind and knock the old pin out with a small punch and a hammer – never a screwdriver, which can slip and mark the case shell or bend the latch ear. Line up the new pin with the latch and hinge holes and tap it back in the same way, flush on both sides. The whole swap takes a few minutes per latch.
