The Peli Storm iM2306 is the long, deep-bodied member of the Storm Case family — the same footprint as the iM2300, but built taller to swallow gear that simply won't lie flat. That extra vertical room is what makes this case a favourite for one job in particular: carrying a rifle scope or spotting scope upright and fully protected, foam-cradled from base to lid instead of squeezed diagonally into a case that was never meant for it. Built Around a Scope, Not Just a Box

Most cases force you to choose between a footprint that fits your bag and enough internal height for a scope to stand upright without touching the lid. The iM2306 solves that with an interior that measures 43.2 × 16 × 15.7 cm — narrow enough to carry easily, deep enough that a rifle scope, a spotting scope, or a compact tripod sits fully supported on its own custom-cut foam layer rather than wedged in at an angle. With the padded-divider or cubed-foam interior, the case can be configured to hold a scope alongside rings, lens caps, and a cleaning kit, so the whole setup travels as one protected unit from the range to the truck to checked baggage.

Press & Pull Latches

The Storm Case shares its rugged DNA with the classic Peli Protector Case, with one key difference: a Press and Pull latch that locks automatically on close but releases with a light touch — even wearing gloves or with cold, wet hands on a winter range day. Two padlockable hasps let you secure the contents whenever the case leaves your sight, whether that's a hunting trip, a flight, or a night in a hotel room.
