The Peli Storm iM2620 is a mid-size hard case engineered for equipment that cannot be compromised in transit. Part of Peli's Storm line — a tactical-heritage family built to military drop and water-immersion specifications — it combines sealed HPX® resin construction with a retractable trolley handle and in-line wheels that make it practical across airports, field sites, and vehicle loading bays alike.

HPX® resin and military testing

The Storm line uses HPX® high-performance resin throughout the shell — a material with superior impact resistance, UV stability, and dimensional consistency under temperature extremes compared to standard structural copolymer. The iM2620 has been independently tested to MIL-STD-810F (military durability in harsh environments), FED-STD-101C (packaging integrity standards), and ATA 300 (air transport container protection). These certifications are used by military logistics and airline cargo operations as baseline performance requirements — passing them means the case holds up under real-world professional handling.

IP67 seal and Vortex™ pressure valve

The lid closes against a continuous O-ring gasket running the full perimeter of the case. With both latches locked, the interior reaches IP67 certification: submersible to one metre for 30 minutes and fully sealed against dust ingress. The Vortex™ automatic pressure equalization valve manages air pressure changes during flight and altitude shifts without compromising the gasket seal — no vacuum lock after landing, no resistance when opening after moving between cold storage and warm arrival environments.

Two Press & Pull™ double-throw latches allow fast, one-handed access even in gloves. Both latches include padlockable hasps compatible with standard padlocks, for customs compliance and transport of regulated or high-value equipment.

Colour and interior options

The iM2620 is available in Black and OD Green (Olive Drab). The foam interior option includes a multilayer Pick N Pluck™ insert — pre-scored foam cubes you remove by hand to create a precise cavity for your equipment without tools — plus a convoluted foam lid liner that stabilizes the load from above when the case is closed. The no-foam option delivers a bare shell ready for custom-cut inserts, mounting panels, or padded organizers.

Mobility and handling

The retractable trolley handle and in-line wheels allow smooth movement through terminals, logistics halls, and staging areas. Two double-layered soft-grip side handles make direct carrying practical when the trolley is stowed. The exterior geometry supports secure stacking with other Storm series cases for vehicle loading, warehouse storage, or mission staging.

The iM2620 suits photo and video rigs, compact UAV systems, survey and measurement instruments, medical devices, communication equipment, and precision electronics that require structured, individual protection. It is compact enough for vehicle storage and aircraft cargo holds while offering substantially more rigidity than padded bags or standard luggage.
