Peli Storm Case IM2720 Military and Travel Case
Hurry up, only 2 items left in stock.
The Peli Storm iM2720 is an IP67-rated wheeled hard case built from HPX® resin, designed for professionals who need certified protection and rolling mobility in the same unit. A retractable telescoping handle and in-line wheels convert it from a static case to a rolling carrier without any attachments or additional equipment. It is certified to MIL-STD-810F, ATA 300, and FED-STD-101C, and is available in three interior configurations — No Foam, Pick 'n' Pluck Foam, and TrekPak Organizer — in Black, Yellow, and Odd Green, backed by Peli's unconditional lifetime guarantee.
IP67 Waterproof Shell on Wheels
The iM2720 achieves IP67 certification through a full-perimeter O-ring gasket that maintains a continuous seal regardless of case orientation or whether the retractable handle is extended or retracted. Four Press & Pull™ latches close with a positive click and release with a single action, even with gloves on. Two padlockable stainless steel hasps add tamper resistance for unattended storage or air freight. Two double-layered soft-grip handles allow the case to be lifted and repositioned when rolling is impractical. Stainless steel hinge pins maintain lid alignment through repeated cycles, and the HPX® resin shell is crushproof against freight stacking, vehicle compression, and drop impacts. Operating temperature range is −28.9 °C to 60 °C (−20 °F to 140 °F).
Three Military and Aviation Certifications
MIL-STD-810F covers shock and vibration resistance across the conditions encountered in military logistics chains — aircraft cargo holds, ground vehicles, and field handling. FED-STD-101C validates packaging integrity under standardized pressure and environmental cycling. ATA 300 is the airline industry's specification for checked freight packaging — a case meeting ATA 300 is accepted as properly packaged under standard airline liability terms, which matters when filing a damage claim on a commercial flight. Together, the three certifications make the iM2720 eligible for both military and commercial logistics without modification.
Automatic Pressure Equalization: The Vortex™ Valve
A sealed hard case builds a pressure differential during air transport: at cruising altitude, ambient pressure is lower than the pressure sealed inside at ground level, and the differential reverses on descent. Without compensation, the lid can seal vacuum-tight by the time the case arrives, requiring significant force to open. The patented Vortex™ valve equalizes pressure automatically and continuously — no user action, no valve to open or close. This means the iM2720 opens with normal latch force after a transcontinental flight, a high-altitude drive, or a rapid temperature change from a hot tarmac to an air-conditioned interior.
Three Interior Configurations and Three Colors
- No Foam — bare interior shell for customers who supply their own custom foam, use the case for non-fragile equipment, or plan a CNC-cut insert.
- Pick 'n' Pluck Foam — pre-scored foam divided into a grid of small cubes. Pull individual cubes with your fingers to create a snug, custom-profile cavity — no cutting tools or adhesives needed.
- TrekPak Organizer — a divider system using rigid, fabric-covered panels and push-pin connectors. Panels can be repositioned without tools to create cells of any width or depth, and the system allows vertical and horizontal stacking of small items without foam.
- Black — standard professional color for office, photographic, and security-conscious transport where a low visual profile matters.
- Yellow — high-visibility color for industrial safety environments, search and rescue, or any situation where the case must be located quickly.
- Odd Green — military-specification earth tone for field equipment, tactical loadouts, and camouflage schemes.
