The Peli Storm IM2300 was built for exactly these situations: compact enough to slip into a carry-on or a range bag, yet tough enough to meet MIL-STD-810F, IP67, and ATA 300 certification standards. It closes the gap between portability and professional-grade protection without asking you to choose between the two.

Shell That Earns Its Credentials

The case body is moulded from HPX™ resin — Peli Storm's proprietary high-performance copolymer that combines low weight with real impact resistance. It won't crack at altitude, warp in summer heat, or become brittle in hard freezes. Rounded corners and a continuous reinforced perimeter distribute shock from drops across the full shell rather than concentrating stress at a single point.

Around the entire lid perimeter, a precision-fitted O-ring gasket creates a complete airtight and watertight seal. Submerse it in a puddle. Set it on wet concrete at a construction site. The IP67 rating means the contents stay dry in up to 1 metre of water for 30 minutes — not "splash resistant," but genuinely waterproof.

Open It Without a Fight

Press & Pull latches are one of the IM2300's most practical design decisions. Press to release, pull to lock — they engage with a tactile click that confirms the seal every single time, even when wearing gloves. After a flight, when cabin pressure changes create a slight vacuum inside, the Vortex™ automatic purge valve bleeds off the differential instantly. The lid opens with a single finger.

Security Where It Counts

Padlockable hasps are integrated at each latch position, letting you run a standard padlock through both points simultaneously. Whether the case is in checked luggage, stored in a van, or sitting unattended at a location, the hardware is there when you need it. The reinforced double-hinge spans the full depth of the case and is rated to maintain alignment under repeated drops.

Configure It Your Way

The With Foam variant ships with a full Pick N Pluck™ foam set — three-layer tear-out foam in the base plus convoluted foam in the lid. Tear out the exact profiles for your camera, lenses, batteries, and accessories; the foam grips each piece individually, eliminating movement during transport. The No Foam variant leaves a clean open shell ready for your own inserts, custom trays, or mounting hardware.

Lid and base accept optional mounting panels — useful for installing small control interfaces, instrument read-outs, or screens directly into the case. Field technicians regularly use the IM2300 as a portable control enclosure as much as a storage case.

Three Colours, Same Standards

Available in Black (low-profile, universal), Yellow (high-visibility, preferred by survey and rescue teams), and Odd Green (the Peli Storm military-influenced finish, UV and chemical resistant). All three carry identical certifications: MIL-STD-810F, ATA 300, and FED-STD-101C.
