The Peli Storm iM2400 is a medium-sized IP67-rated hard case built from HPX® resin — the same high-performance polymer used across the Storm series — with a crushproof shell, an automatic pressure equalization valve, and four distinct interior configurations that let you match the case exactly to your kit.

IP67 Waterproof and Crushproof from Every Direction

The iM2400 carries a full IP67 rating: completely dustproof and able to withstand 30-minute submersion at up to one metre depth. HPX® resin is engineered to resist impacts that would crush or crack a polypropylene shell — freight drops, vehicle compression, and rough handling included. Two Press & Pull™ latches secure the lid with a positive click and release cleanly with a single action, even with gloved hands. Two padlockable stainless steel hasps add tamper resistance for checked luggage or unattended storage, while stainless steel hinge pins keep the lid aligned through thousands of cycles. A double-layered soft-grip handle distributes the load across your palm whether you are boarding a flight or moving kit from vehicle to field position.

An O-ring gasket runs the full perimeter of the lid, creating the watertight seal that makes the IP67 rating possible. Unlike fabric-and-zipper cases, the seal is not affected by repeated opening and closing.

Automatic Pressure Equalization: The Vortex™ Valve

A sealed case on an aircraft accumulates a pressure differential during the flight. Without compensation, cabin pressure change creates a vacuum inside the case that can make the lid nearly impossible to open on arrival — a familiar problem for anyone who travels with hard cases. The patented Vortex™ pressure equalization valve eliminates this automatically: it continuously vents the case to ambient pressure, so the iM2400 opens with normal latch force whether you land at sea level, at altitude, or in a pressurized cabin. The same valve handles rapid temperature swings during cold-weather or desert deployments.
