Peli Storm IM2450 - Deep Watertight Case
Hurry up, only 4 items left in stock.
Large enough to protect equipment that cannot fit in a shallower case but compact enough to remain manageable in the field, the Peli Storm iM2450 is a deep IP67-rated hard case built for professionals who need 457 × 330 × 213 mm of protected interior. Made from HPX® resin — the high-performance polymer shared across the Storm series — the iM2450 is crushproof, dustproof, and tested to MIL-STD-810F, ATA 300, and FED-STD-101C standards for drop, vibration, and sustained impact.
IP67 Rated — Submersion-Proof Construction
IP67 means completely dustproof and sealed against water ingress during 30-minute submersion at up to one metre depth. The seal is provided by a full-perimeter EPDM O-ring gasket running the length of the lid interface — a mechanical seal that cannot be degraded by repeated opening and closing the way fabric-and-zipper enclosures can. Two Press & Pull™ latches close with a positive click and open cleanly with one finger, even with gloved hands. Two padlockable stainless steel hasps provide tamper resistance for checked baggage or unattended storage. Stainless steel hinge pins keep the lid correctly aligned through thousands of open-close cycles, while rounded and ribbed edges distribute and absorb impact forces from all directions.
Automatic Pressure Equalization: The Vortex™ Valve
A sealed case changes internal pressure during flight, rapid altitude change, or temperature swing. Without compensation, the resulting differential can vacuum-lock the lid shut on arrival — familiar to anyone who has tried to open a sealed case after landing. The patented Vortex™ valve eliminates this problem by continuously venting the interior to ambient pressure. The iM2450 opens with normal latch force at sea level, at altitude, after a cold-weather deployment, or directly off a pressurized aircraft.
Three Colors, Three Interior Configurations
The iM2450 is available in Black, Odd Green, and Yellow:
- Black — standard professional color for photographic equipment, electronics, and security-conscious transport where a low visual profile is preferred.
- Odd Green — distinctive field color for tactical, military, and first-responder deployments where instant identification of the right case matters in a multi-case kit.
- Yellow — high-visibility color for search and rescue, industrial environments, or any situation where the case must be quickly located.
Interior configurations:
- No Foam — bare interior shell for customers supplying their own foam, a custom-cut insert, or who plan to use the case for non-fragile equipment.
- With Foam — Pick 'n' Pluck pre-scored foam that tears cleanly to any profile. Pull out individual cubes to create a precise fit for your equipment without cutting tools.
- With TrekPak Organizer — a modular divider system built from thin coroplast panels held in position by stainless steel U-pins. Panels divide the interior into separate compartments and can be repositioned without tools. Included dual-blade cutter trims panels to any custom width.
Deep Format — What Fits Inside
With an interior depth of 213 mm (8.4 in), the iM2450 accommodates equipment that would not fit in shallower cases: professional camera bodies with mid-range lenses attached, laptop computers, long optics, medical instruments, or any configuration requiring vertical clearance. The interior footprint of 457 × 330 mm provides generous floor area for complex multi-component arrangements.
