What Is a Bezel Kit Used For?

A bezel kit replaces the standard foam insert with a rigid aluminum frame mounted flush into the case base. Your custom panel — cut to the exact interior dimensions — bolts directly onto the aluminum rails. The result is a self-contained, ruggedised equipment enclosure that ships, stores, and deploys inside a watertight Peli Storm case. This approach is widely used in military communications, broadcast production, industrial inspection, and emergency-response applications.

Metric Fastening — M4 Tapped Holes

The metric variant (M4) features M4-threaded holes along the front, back, and side rails. These accept standard M4 socket-head or button-head cap screws, giving you a clean, vibration-resistant fastening solution compatible with European and international equipment standards. No additional thread inserts or adapters are required — simply drill and cut your panel to size, position it on the rails, and secure it with M4 fasteners of your choice.

Watertight Even With the Lid Open

A polymer O-ring seated in the case rim and a silicone perimeter gasket fitted around the bezel frame maintain a continuous environmental seal even when the case lid is open and the panel is exposed. This dual-seal approach protects any cabling or connectors that pass through the panel against dust, splash, and humidity — critical in outdoor or industrial deployments.
