The Peli Storm IM2975 is a large-volume rolling transport case built for situations where "good enough" protection is not an option. Designed for car roof racks, airport cargo, expedition transport, and heavy-duty field use, it combines genuine IP67 waterproof performance with a wheeled, telescoping-handle chassis that makes moving it manageable — even when fully loaded.

HPX® Resin Shell — Built to Take It

The outer shell is moulded from high-performance HPX® resin, the same material used across Peli Storm's professional line. It flexes and absorbs impacts rather than cracking under pressure, withstands chemical exposure, and maintains structural integrity across a wide range of temperatures. Heavy-duty reinforced hinges with stainless steel hinge pins keep the lid perfectly aligned and functioning properly even after thousands of open/close cycles and rough handling by cargo loaders.

Five-Latch Closure with Padlockable Security

Five automatic Press & Pull latches close the case the moment you lower the lid — no manual securing needed. They open with a single light push. Two of the hasps accept padlocks, providing an additional security layer when the case travels unattended, checked into cargo, or stored in a vehicle. The full-perimeter O-ring seal delivers IP67-rated protection against water ingress and dust contamination, keeping contents fully protected in rain, spray, mud, and dusty environments.

Vortex® Valve and Pressure Equalisation

The integrated Vortex® valve automatically equalises internal pressure relative to the outside environment, without allowing moisture to enter. In practice, this means no manual "burping" when moving between altitudes or temperature extremes — from aircraft cargo to tarmac, from a cold mountain location to a warm vehicle interior. Pressure differentials that could otherwise compromise the seal or make the case difficult to open are handled passively and reliably.

Transport System and Interior Options

The IM2975 rolls on smooth in-line wheels with a telescoping pull handle — designed for the substantial loads a case this size typically carries. Two double-layered, soft-grip side handles provide additional carry options when rolling is impractical. Available in black or odd green, with or without Pick 'n' Pluck foam.

The Pick 'n' Pluck foam interior provides a fully customisable protection matrix. Pre-scored foam cubes can be removed in any configuration to create precise cutouts for cameras, lenses, instruments, electronics, or any equipment that benefits from a snug, vibration-dampening fit. The black foam against the black interior gives a professional, clean appearance.
