Please note: hinge pins are not included. Reuse the existing pins from your case when fitting the new hardware.

Installation

Fitting Peli latches and handles requires only basic tools. Remove the old part by driving out the hinge pins with a drift punch and a hammer — never force pins out with a screwdriver, as this damages both the pin and the case material around it. Once the new latch or handle is in position, tap the pins back in the same way. If a pin is corroded or stiff, a few drops of penetrating oil will help before you drive it out. Work on a stable surface and support the case to avoid flexing the shell.
