Which interior is right for you?

Pick N Pluck™ foam suits kit that rarely changes: pluck out the cubes and you have a fitted cut-out, but plucked cubes cannot be put back cleanly. Padded dividers with hook-and-loop are flexible and quick to rearrange, ideal if you pack differently for every job. TrekPak™ combines both: thin, rigid dividers held by U-pins take up less space than foam and can still be rearranged in minutes. Buy the case with no foam and you can add any of these systems later.

Is the Peli 1510 carry-on size?

The 1510 was designed as a carry-on case and many airlines accept it in the cabin. To be honest about it: at 56.1 cm long including wheels it is just over the common 55 cm limit, and at 22.9 cm deep it exceeds fares with a 20 cm limit. With airlines that measure strictly, that can be a problem. Check your airline's current dimensions before you fly and keep an eye on weight, because a fully packed 1510 quickly reaches typical 7–8 kg cabin limits. If you often fly with strict airlines, also look at the lighter Peli Air 1535.

Peli 1510, Air 1535 or 1560?

• Peli 1510 – the classic Protector in carry-on format: extremely tough, with the widest range of accessories and spare parts.
• Peli Air 1535 – a similar format, up to 40% lighter thanks to HPX²™ polymer; the better choice when every kilo of your cabin allowance counts.
• Peli 1560 – noticeably larger, for checked baggage and vehicle transport when your kit no longer fits a cabin case.

Accessories and spare parts for the Peli 1510

A Peli 1510 often lasts for decades, so wear parts can be replaced individually: replacement wheels (including an upgrade to rubber wheels), latch-and-handle sets in several colours, single handles, a backplate and a complete replacement foam set. Is the Peli 1510 waterproof?
Yes. The O-ring seal and the automatic pressure equalization valve keep water and dust out as long as the case is closed properly.

Does a laptop fit in the Peli 1510?
Yes, with a laptop lid organizer. There are versions for 13″ and for 14–16″ devices; maximum laptop dimensions are given in each product description.

Can I replace the foam with TrekPak later?
Yes. Take the foam out and fit the TrekPak kit – the case itself stays unchanged.

What warranty does the Peli 1510 have?
Peli Protector cases carry the Peli limited lifetime warranty. Wear parts such as wheels and foam are not covered, but they are all available individually as spare parts.
